Dr. Jane Goodall spent a lifetime proving that one person’s compassion can change the world. She was the first to truly see chimpanzees – not as subjects to study, but as individuals with personalities, emotions, and families worth protecting.
Jane showed us the way. Now it’s our turn.
When you become a Chimp Guardian, you join Jane’s global movement protecting chimpanzees who have been injured or orphaned by the illegal wildlife trade – giving them a second chance. Your adoption is more than symbolic. It provides real support for our closest living relatives.

Shipping of physical kits is free! Or maximize your impact by choosing a digital adoption.
An exclusive, limited edition “Greybeard” plush chimp toy from Apple TV’s “Jane” show. Made from 100% recycled materials, this item is available when you adopt a chimp and choose the “Physical Package” option. Perfect for birthdays, holidays, or just because!

Chimp Guardian gifts go towards supporting the Jane Goodall Institute’s Tchimpounga Sanctuary, which includes things like food and medicine for the animals in our care – plus support for veterinarians, caregivers, eco-guards, and advocacy programs to end the illegal wildlife trade.
One-time adoptions don’t include individual updates. Monthly donors, however, receive quarterly news on the care that chimpanzees are receiving and the progress they are making. To learn more about becoming a monthly donor and joining Team Goodall, click here.
The limited edition “Greybeard” plush toys are made from 100% recycled materials.
For both Digital and Physical Packages, the tax receipt amount is $75.00.
