Use these resources to help guide you through the process of starting your own Roots & Shoots group.

Outlined below are tips for helping you identify an issue in your community, conduct relevant

research, organise your group and get the word out about your project.

 

Identify

This section will help you identify and decide on an issue you and your group would like to focus on.

Research

Here is a link to help your group prepare to interview a relevant community member. This may be someone who is knowledgeable about or involved in the issue you are tackling.

 

Organise

This section will help you organise and manage your Roots & Shoots group, including project timelines, budgets and fundraising.

Getting the Word Out

Here is some information about how to educate the public about the issue you are passionate about, and to share how the efforts of your Roots & Shoots are contributing to solving the problem.
