Roots & Shoots Peace Day

|
Ever since Dr. Jane Goodall was appointed a UN Messenger of Peace in 2002, Roots & Shoots has organized an annual event to celebrate the UN International Day of Peace in September.
Roots & Shoots groups around the world build giant Peace Doves and fly them to promote a culture of peace and spend a day free of violence.
Read about the history of Peace Day, get instructions to build giant Peace Doves, learn how to get involved, and find event information from past years on this page. |
