Roots & Shoots Peace Day

|
Ever since Dr. Jane Goodall was appointed a UN Messenger of Peace in 2002, Roots & Shoots has organized an annual event to celebrate the UN International Day of Peace in September.
Roots & Shoots groups around the world build giant Peace Doves and fly them to promote a culture of peace and spend a day free of violence.
Read about the history of Peace Day, get instructions to build giant Peace Doves, and learn about our newest campaign "Hugs for Peace" on this page! |
