You can make a difference. Give the gift of health for the rescued chimpanzees living at the Tchimpounga sanctuary.

The Jane Goodall Institute’s Tchimpounga sanctuary in the Republic of Congo is home to more than 140 orphaned chimpanzees rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. When rescued chimpanzees arrive at the sanctuary they’re often sick and injured having escaped life-threatening situations.

Tchimpounga is their second chance and it’s critical that they receive the life-saving care they need so they can thrive. You can give the gift of a healthy future for chimps in need.

The chimpanzees depicted in this photograph are rescued, not wild, and are cared for by professionals at Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Centre. Dr. Jane Goodall and the Jane Goodall Institute do not endorse handling, interacting, or close proximity to chimpanzees or other wildlife.
