Jane at 90: Birthday Party  

Afrim Pristine is the world’s youngest Maitre Fromager, owner of the Cheese Boutique in Toronto, and was the host of Food Network Canada’s “Cheese: A Love Story”. Afrim has been a supporter of JGI Canada for nearly a decade, helping with many past events. Guests at Dr. Jane’s 90th Birthday Party will indulge in a delicious culinary spread generously provided by Afrim.

Alexandra Hutchison has been a long-time supporter of the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada (JGIC), and a long-time fan of Jane. As a Strategic Designer working in interior design and architecture, she spends much of her time considering the impacts of her work on the world, and as such, has become a champion for both conservation and authentic sustainability. She has been kind enough to design a number of strategic fundraising events for JGIC since 2013.

Angela Colterjohn has been involved with JGI for 15 years and brings over 4 decades of fundraising and event management experience from across both the corporate world and not-for- profit sector. Past and ongoing roles in  not-for-profit leadership include:  Hot docs, Art gallery of Ont, National Ballet of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation, St John Ambulance (dog/horse therapy) in various Hospices, Dying with Dignity, and MAiDHouse, to list a few. Angela is an avid animal lover and huge fan of Dr Goodall’s.

Michelle Valberg is a Nikon Ambassador and a Canadian Geographic Photographer-in-Residence. She is an award-winning photographer who has been telling stories with her camera for more than 30 years. Michelle is based in Ottawa, Canada and Valberg Imaging is based in Westboro Studio.

Jay Rosenzweig is an internationally renowned social impact entrepreneur, environmentalist, humanitarian, trained lawyer, and leadership strategist. The founder of Rosenzweig & Company, Rosenzweig is an expert in designing, building and attracting world class teams. Rosenzweig has been immersed global human rights causes for well over two decades, and has been internationally recognized for the Annual Rosenzweig Report on equality, which he has published for the past eighteen years. He is the Chair of the Board of Irwin Cotler’s Raoul Wallenberg Centre For Human Rights. In addition, he sits on a number of other purpose driven boards supporting causes ranging from reversing climate change, healthcare, youth empowerment, refugee protection, and anti-gun violence.
