We couldn’t be more excited to announce the debut of Apple TV+ original series “Jane.” Inspired by the life of Dr. Jane Goodall, this 10-episode show premieres globally on Friday, April 14, 2023.

Jane Garcia (Ava Louise Murchison) is a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her imagination, and along with friend David (Mason Blomberg) and Greybeard the chimpanzee, they go on epic adventures to help protect wild animals around the globe. This new series also includes Tamara Almeida, Dan Abramovici, newcomer Jazz Allen and Sam Marra.

Geared towards kids and family audiences, this exciting new live-action/CGI-blended series is the brainchild of Emmy Award winner (and friend of JGI Canada) J.J. Johnson with Sinking Ship Entertainment, and the Jane Goodall Institute.

“I’m excited about this opportunity and relationship with Apple and Sinking Ship,” Dr. Jane Goodall commented. “The program ‘Jane’ spreads a message of hope and reminds children that the environment is something that we all have to be concerned about while also inspiring them and their parents to make a difference.”

As Jane says, “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.” Tune in April 14th on AppleTV+ and inspire all ages and generations.
