It’s Jane Goodall Day!

Today would have been Dr. Jane’s 92nd birthday, and we’re celebrating the only way we know how — by taking action. We hope you join us and do the same! Here are some ways you can get out and mark Jane Goodall Day:

Yes, our annual Online Birthday Auction has officially launched! You can now bid on limited-edition memorabilia, extraordinary experiences, stunning artwork, handmade creations, proudly Canadian bundles, and more.

Every bid you place helps raise funds for our mission at the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada, and supports the work that Dr. Jane championed throughout her remarkable lifetime — from protecting chimpanzees and providing them with the care they need, to supporting community-led conservation projects across Africa, to inspiring and equipping young leaders who are creating impactful environmental projects.

Dr. Jane often said that each one of us can make a difference, but that the kind of difference we make is up to us. Let’s make an impactful, thoughtful, and meaningful difference this Jane Goodall Day.

However you celebrate the day, let’s work together to make sure the one wish that Dr. Jane had — a world where animals, people, and the environment could all thrive — can come true.

We want to know what you get up to — so make sure you use #JaneGoodallDay on social media and tag us at @JaneGoodallCAN. We can’t wait to see how Dr. Jane inspires you!
