Project Periwinkle is one of the projects we support through the A.P.E. Fund. With this project, a youth group named The Green Herons is working to remove invasive species, protect and restore native habitat, and mitigate the impact of the invasive species that have been disrupting sensitive ecosystems on Saugeen Bruce Peninsula.

Every year, we receive hundreds of applications to fund youth-led projects just like this.
