In 2019, join JGI Canada on an exclusive trip to Uganda
The Jane Goodall Institute of Canada is hosting a unique, customized trip to Uganda to visit JGI conservation initiatives generously supported by our donors. Home to significant populations of wild chimpanzees, the Jane Goodall Institute in Uganda is leading efforts to ensure their safety and survival. Working with JGI’s Uganda-based scientists and researchers, and with G-Adventures, Canada’s top wildlife-friendly travel agency, we have tailored a travel experience specifically for our donors. Seeing, first-hand, our projects in the field is a powerful demonstration of the importance of our work in conservation and with communities in Uganda. This trip offers the rare opportunity to visit with local people and to experience chimpanzees and other wildlife in their natural setting. Senior staff from JGI Canada will accompany you throughout the eight-day trip. We will be joined along the way by regional JGI experts who will share their knowledge, enriching the experience with their passion and insight through presentations and informal discussions. This extraordinary expedition offers you the chance to see how donations to JGI projects benefit endangered chimpanzees and the people living in closest proximity to these fascinating animals.
