Each year, the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) of Canada offers unique opportunities to visit our project sites in Africa. Our trips provide travellers with the chance to visit places that are accessible only when accompanied by expert JGI staff. Destinations vary each year and have included travel to Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Center,
in the Republic of Congo
; overnight stays at the famous
Gombe Stream Research Station in Tanzania – where Dr. Goodall began her ground-breaking study of wild chimpanzees – and visiting community projects in Uganda.

Our trips are highly customized to maximize time spent in the field, meeting the JGI team, engaging with local communities, and seeing chimpanzees in the wild,
as well as chimps rescued from illegal trafficking.

These once in a lifetime exclusive trips are $15,000 CAD per person (exclusive of airfare).

See first-hand projects in the field. A powerful demonstration of the importance of our
collective work in conservation and with local people.
