Canada is home.

We’re known for our work in Africa. But in a modern global village, our work in Africa is intimately linked to life at home in Canada.

The rare minerals in Canada’s cell phones are mined – to great devastation – in African communities; the demand that drives the illegal wildlife trade is alive and well in Canada; and the environmental inequity faced by some African communities is all too well known by Indigenous populations here. So we proudly bring our method of community-centred conservation home to Canada.

Our Canadian Mandate:

  • Empower young people to do what previous generations couldn’t: protect our shared home;
  • Partner with Indigenous-led organizations to tackle environmental inequity, biodiversity loss, and climate change;
  • Inspire hope and enable action through national campaigns.

Passionate and informed young leaders from across Canada help shape the way we tackle the convergence of climate change, biodiversity loss, and environmental inequity.

Indigenous Micro-grants Program

The Indigenous Micro-grants Program equips youth with resources to support projects that address environmental crises in their communities.

Change is happening in Canada’s own backyard.

The greatest danger to our future is apathy.
