Fund A Youth-led Community Art Project at the Healing Place Lanark, Unceded Algonquin Anishinabek Territory, Ontario The collaborative art project is an opportunity for Indigenous and allied youth to express themselves by developing art pieces to be displayed in the Healing Place’s Reconciliation and Climate Change Garden, a community green space dedicated to creating places of healing that are safe and ethical. We have started some crops, but we do not have funds to continue on for this next year. We plan to use the funds to purchase seeds, berry bushes, and a load of soil to fill our beds. The student encouraged several other people to join and form a club to improve the environment/habitat for our community and animals.
