Rexdale, Ontario Eat Clean Toronto is a project that aims to reduce food-related harm to the environment by educating and empowering youth to incorporate sustainability in their eating habits. Our mission is to reduce food wastage, reduce emissions, and protect wildlife through education. The produce will be shared with the community in order to address food insecurity in the region. View project Climate Change (Environment) Solar Day at Greenway Solar day is an annual project which was created by a group of my students 3 years ago through Roots and Shoots. It takes place around the time of summer solstice. every year. The school uses as little electricity as possible and goes outside to learn and build community. View project Biodiversity Loss (Animals) School Garden and Wildlife/Bird Observation Station I would love to increase the size of our tiny school garden so that we can begin to provide some fresh food options for our school breakfast and lunch program in the spring (fresh greens) and fall (squash, tomatoes, potatoes).
