So much rich learning can happen in the garden and the lessons learned in the school garden can be carried home to make a more sustainable community. One major idea they have to to revive our “Living Wall” that exists in the foyer with more sustainable & biodiverse plants. These Enviro-leaders are being the change daily. We currently have over 40 gardens across the Niagara Region. This year we hope to increase our intergenerational native gardens by setting up our team of youth with interested seniors and plant pollinator gardens for them. View project Climate Change (Environment) Diverting our School’s Food Waste from Landfills The intention of this project is to bring green bins to each classroom in the school, in order to more effectively divert food waste from landfills. The green bin program will be a great addition to our existing blue and grey bin recycling program at the school. View project
