A.P.E. Fund Indigenous Medicine Wheel Garden Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan The Indigenous Medicine Wheel Garden project provides a way of connecting to Indigenous knowledge and stewardship. We hope to deepen the students’, and our communities, understanding of our local ecosystem, its history, biodiversity and how to be an environmental steward. We will also include some herbs plants that are native to our area. These plants will then be offered to school families to be planted in their home gardens. View project Biodiversity Loss (Animals) School Garden and Wildlife/Bird Observation Station I would love to increase the size of our tiny school garden so that we can begin to provide some fresh food options for our school breakfast and lunch program in the spring (fresh greens) and fall (squash, tomatoes, potatoes). It will allow youth consider climate change, loss of biodiversity, and environmental inequity through Indigenous lenses and wisdom, and reflect on their responses. View project
