A.P.E. Fund Kinomaagewgaamgoong – A place of Learning – Medicine Wheel. Medicinal plant and Three Sisters Garden expansion. Sarnia, traditional territories of the Chippewa, Odawa, Potawatomi and Delaware Nations, Yukon Kinomaagewgaamgoong – was a vision of the school community to bring together to celebrate cultural learning in a multi sensory outdoor classroom. Centered around the student constructed medicine wheel the expansion project looks to add a three sisters garden, and expand the medicinal plant garden. Students will work to make an impact on a school level and hopefully begin to impact the greater community. They will incorporate ceremonies, Cree language and land-based actions to build knowledge and engagement.
