A.P.E. Fund Microgreens – Mega Nutrition! Treaty 1, Manitoba We identified that a big need in our community is food insecurity. We realized that many students at our school are currently accessing food banks. After researching, we learned microgreens are nutrient dense, easy to grow and could be a great source of fresh vegetables. We plan to grow our own! If we act now, we can help mother bears protect their cubs. Northern communities are working to establish Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas in the region. We want partner with CPAWS to create a polar bear park.
