A.P.E. Fund Mission bat rescue Stanstead, Quebec I will write magazines about white-nosed syndrome and its effects on bats. I will also write an article in the Stanstead College newspaper. My father, who teaches there, will build bat houses with his students. Posters are going to be put up to raise awareness on the importance of protecting bats. This project will gather a community together for the second annual Guelph Bird Day, to celebrate, learn about, and protect our community’s birds. They will lead a campaign for change in our community by hosting events such as OLCS Earth Hour and recycling items into new products. This project will help fund a chicken coop. Chickens will reduce school food scraps and produce compost for gardening. Parts of our lawn will be replaced with compost, native flowers(permaculture).
