A.P.E. Fund Restoration & Queer Ecology Vancouver, British Columbia 12 BIPOC youth will engage in place-based outdoor education that equips them with key tools to live resiliently in the climate change future. They will learn how queerness is abundant in ecology while restoring a degrading meadow, stewarding native plants, & increasing urban frog, bat & bird populations. By creating the garden at the school, they hope to engage and educate the entire school population, and inspire them to create more gardens in the community. They will make homes, plant flowers and install a water drinking area.
