A.P.E. Fund Reviltalizing our gardens at our school Bowmanville, Ontario We are working on a mural project in our school this year with the Indigenous education department of our board. We are looking at the four seasons. As part of our grade 3 plant unit, I would like to have students plants some indigenous plants in our school gardens. Students in our community do not often have the opportunity to donate and we feel that researching the work that the Fauna Foundation does is an excellent opportunity for the students to learn about animal welfare. Our youngest students will learn about how important bees, butterflies and other pollinators are! They will use their knowledge to teach the rest of the school why they should consider helping them with their project and planting flowers at their own homes. View project
