A.P.E. Fund Save the ocean from plastic pollution: Our grade 3 class will be planning ways to both reduce plastic use in our classroom and school community. Along with finding creating ways that plastic can be reused in purposeful ways. Winnipeg, Manitoba Our grade 3 class discovered that there are many different ways to help protect our oceans. We decided to choose to focus on one area that can be purposefully done in our own class and school community, which is specific plans to encourage less plastic and purposefully reuse plastic. Past and present wisdom and food practices can teach us how to cultivate diverse food ecosystems for the present and the future. View project Biodiversity Loss (Animals) Mission bat rescue I will write magazines about white-nosed syndrome and its effects on bats. I will also write an article in the Stanstead College newspaper. My father, who teaches there, will build bat houses with his students. Posters are going to be put up to raise awareness on the importance of protecting bats. View project
