The student encouraged several other people to join and form a club to improve the environment/habitat for our community and animals. View project Climate Change (Environment) Community Gardens and Sustainability We want to use our Tower Gardens and outdoor garden boxes to grow nutritious food supplies and learn about healthy eating. This would also enable the students to learn how to grow their own food and take care of plants and plant life. During this process, we would also visit our local greenhouse. View project Biodiversity Loss (Animals), Climate Change (Environment), Environmental Inequity (People) Seven Grandfather Teachings: Empowering youth to create a Pollinator Garden, restore a Pond and mentor peers Honouring our school goal, Seven Grandfather Teachings, elementary students will plant Pollinator (bees, butterflies, hummingbirds) preferred wildflowers, annuals, and wild trees in the schoolyard and near the city trail. We will clean and restore a pond area and reduce plastic waste in our school. View project
