Corinne Caldwell

Corinne is a passionate people leader, financial strategist, and innovator. With nearly twenty years of experience leading organizations in Canada and abroad, Corinne attributes her success to engaging stakeholders with meaningful insights, creating a strong vision, developing a coaching culture, and inclusive decision-making. She has a passion for evolving organizations from a transaction-based to a value-added strategic focus; and employs big picture thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and creates an atmosphere for long-term growth and sustainability.

Corinne is the Chief Operating Officer with Harper Grey LLP. Prior to joining Harper Grey, Corinne served as an executive with the British Columbia Real Estate Association. She articled in audit with Ernst & Young LLP and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. With a keen interest in governance, she completed her Chartered Director designation.

Passionate about community involvement, Corinne has served as Past Chair of the Canadian Association Executive’s Committee, in governance roles with the Girl Guides of Canada and has been extensively involved in industry advisory committees.

Corinne is an outdoor enthusiast, passionate about the conservation of wildlife, and has traveled the world to see and photograph animals in their natural habitat.

Karen McCarthy

Karen is SVP, Associate General Counsel & Secretary at Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto, where she provides securities, regulatory, and environmental, social and corporate governance advice to senior management and the RBC board. Prior to that, she was senior counsel at a large technology company and began her legal career at a leading Canadian law firm. Karen has travelled extensively through Africa and cares about wildlife conservation. She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors and the U.S. National Association of Corporate Directors.

Brent Cape

Brent is a Chartered Professional Accountant and serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Norima Consulting, a mid-sized IT consultancy. With years of experience in the field, Brent has established himself as a knowledgeable and dedicated professional. Outside of work, Brent enjoys spending time with his family, chasing his young daughter around their Montreal suburb. He is also an avid cyclist who enjoys exploring new territories and challenging routes. Additionally, Brent has a passion for travel, having visited many countries around the globe, and loves to immerse himself in different cultures and experiences.

Kevin Dunbar

Kevin is a non-profit leader with over 15 years experience empowering teams to achieve positive organizational and social change. His roles reflect his commitment to address some of the world’s most complex issues. Kevin has led teams to deliver large scale humanitarian responses, grow international development programs in over 20 countries, and support Canadian Indigenous community-led programs on food sovereignty and ecological sustainability. His expertise includes supporting organizations and communities to navigate the emerging opportunities and risks of digital transformation. Kevin has worked for a range of organizations, including Feed The Children, CARE Canada, Save the Children and the SecDev Foundation. He is currently the Executive Director for the Green Party of Canada. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria, and a Masters in Development and Emergency Practice from Oxford Brookes University.

Brooke Jamison

Brooke is a partner at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, a law firm based in Toronto, where she focuses on fund formation, corporate governance and transactional matters. She is also a member of the firm’s management committee. Over the course of Brooke’s career, she has, among other things, provided her clients with advice relating to environmental, social and governance initiatives, led key pro-bono mandates, and supported numerous Canadian funds and companies as they grow and develop sustainably. Brooke is passionate about the importance of grassroots, community-led initiatives to promote biodiversity and to protect the environment. While Brooke grew up in rural Alberta, she is now based in Toronto and spends her free time staying active, perfecting her sourdough bread recipe, and working to meet the many demands of her cats, Evelyn and Millie, alongside her husband Keith.

Chloë Chang

Chloë Chang is a young trailblazer advancing socioeconomically and culturally appropriate biodiversity conservation in collaboration with local communities. After working and researching across wildlife conservation, ecology, and agriculture, Chloë is passionate about aligning these two disciplines for a sustainable and just future. Through her Master of Science at the University of British Columbia, Chloë’s interdisciplinary research collaborates with farmers and local organizations to create meaningful solutions in agriculture and conservation. As a POC, neurodivergent, and queer individual, Chloë hopes to increase the representation of these marginal groups in her fields.

Erinn Piller

Erinn Piller, Head of Business Marketing at TikTok Canada, is leading a world-class team dedicated to empowering marketers with solutions that drive authentic connections and business results. With over 15 years of experience in developing and implementing innovative communication and marketing strategies, Erinn has worked with leading entertainment and digital brands and platforms in Canada, including Global Entertainment, National Geographic, STACKTV, and Disney. She has also driven brand excellence and leadership across leading NGOs worldwide, including WWF and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In addition to her role at TikTok, Erinn is a Women of Inspiration – Authentic Leader Award winner. She sits on the B2B Executive Committee with the Canadian Marketing Association and is an acting Director with the Charles H. Ivey Foundation, which invests in community organizations supporting youth at risk.

Jennifer Franks

Jennifer is the Director of Indigenous Relations for the Toronto Zoo. She is of mixed Red River Metis and European descent and is a registered citizen of the Manitoba Metis Federation. Jennifer’s role at the Zoo is multi-layered and evolving – building and strengthening relationships with First Nations and Indigenous communities, establishing partnerships to braid traditional and local knowledge into the Zoo’s conservation science programs, telling the stories of animals and plants in the Zoo’s care, language and storytelling, and decolonizing the Zoo’s internal operations. Prior to joining the Zoo, Jennifer has held a number of strategic and policy roles in the provincial and City of Toronto governments, including the City’s Indigenous Affairs Office. Jennifer is honoured to bring her perspectives to the JGIC Board.

Michael Nadler

Michael Nadler is a conservation leader with more than 25 years of senior executive experience in government and the not-for-profit sector. Born in British Columbia, Michael’s first professional experiences were at a large protected wetland complex in the southeastern interior of the province. Michael completed graduate studies in public administration at Carleton University in Ottawa and then joined the federal public service, where he served in a number of leadership capacities. Michael’s service with the Government of Canada included executive roles in the Canada’s SchoolNet program, leading educational networking initiatives; serving as the Regional Director General for Nunavut with Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada; leading federal negotiations of modern Indigenous rights and self-government agreements in the Atlantic provinces, Quebec, and the Northwest Territories; and serving in senior executive roles with Parks Canada, including as the Agency’s lead for visitor experience and nature education, and later as interim chief executive officer. Michael retired from the public service to serve for three years as the Chief Executive Officer of Ducks Unlimited Canada, one of the largest not-for-profit nature conservancies in North America. Now mostly retired, Michael and his spouse split their time among their home in Ottawa, a recreational property on Lake Winnipeg, and playing in the deep and dry snow of the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains of British Columbia.

Phoebe Glasfurd

Phoebe Glasfurd is a creative leader with over two decades of experience in branding and marketing across diverse industries. As the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Glasfurd & Walker, she has positioned the studio as a global leader in branding and design, particularly in the hospitality, consumer packaged goods, and retail sectors. An advisor and investor in start-ups across Canada, Australia, and the USA, Phoebe is also dedicated to social causes, supporting various non-profits focused on mental health, social matters, and environmental sustainability. Her approach combines artistic innovation, strategic insight, and philanthropic leadership, making her a catalyst for both creative excellence and meaningful impact. She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors.
