Eat like the Earth depends on it.
Because it does.

Livestock production and factory farming are harming our planet. Livestock production, for example, accounts for between 14% and 18% of greenhouse gas emissions globally — more than cars and vans.

And with factory farming’s intensive animal agricultural practices, animals and the environment are negatively impacted. Indeed, when she realized that factory farming was responsible for the suffering of millions of animals around the world, Dr. Jane went vegan.

You could, too! Or you could just eat less meat, skipping meat one day each week. When people around the world skip meat for just one day, the impact adds up. You could start there and go plant-based with time — to improve your health, to save animals from suffering, and to protect our planet from the impacts of climate change.

We can help you get started.

Pledge to Eat Like Jane and we’ll send you one of the recipes from the Jane Goodall Institute’s cookbook — inspired by Dr. Jane herself! It’s delicious, it’s sustainable, and it’s proof that saving the planet can start on your plate.

Only when people understand the facts of industrial animal farming and move towards a plant-based diet […] can we hope to end these barbaric practices.
